N26 is a Berlin based banking service that was first launched in 2015 and is now available in the UK, as well as Germany, France, Ireland and many other European countries.
Update: N26 are no longer offering accounts to UK customers.

With N26 you get a free Mastercard, can manage your card and finances in the app, as well as get great rates on foreign exchange and money transfers.

Is My Money Safe With N26
Although N26 is not protected by the FCFS, your money is protected by the equivalent German banking protection scheme up to €100,000.
