Money, value, and the equivalency of many of what we might call luxury goods – there can be more to it than you would think.
Oliver’s Travels decided to take a look at different combinations of products to see what UK consumers could get instead of various common consumer items.
For example, they worked out that for the cost of a 3.5 months of a Sky TV subscription, you could instead dine at a Michelin starred restaurant. Oh la la!
Or for the cost of 40 lottery tickets, you could hire out a limo to drive your pals to the pub in.
Whether you think the luxury items are better value – that is of course up to you and your situation.
